We did a walk down to the river by are school were a meat works were.We saw old boat poles that you would tie your boat to.We also saw a very old rusty boat also there was a concrete block where the meat works was.We also saw some old pipes on the ground sticking up.These were all things that were here years ago when the river was much bigger and ships could come though.But the meat works got closed down because of the pollution they were putting in the river like cow guts and animal scraps.

Whangara

In this module so far we have been learning about what we have been doing to the environment for example you would pick one problem like water pollution and you would make an enquiry about it and present to the class. But lately we have been talking about sea life and there ideal environment. I picked stingray and I made a google drawing as told and listed its predators,food and rocks and coral that's around where it lives. We also went on a school trip to the museum and on thursday we are going on one of the wakas from tahiti. This module is science and social science its really fun and has fun activities.
